I take quetiapine which is used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. I have gained 5 pounds and have not lost any weight. I have started to eat a little more often and exercise. I am very satisfied with my diet and exercise. However, the weight gain has been very slowly but the side effects have outweighed the benefit. I have tried many different medications and I have noticed some positive results with Seroquel XR. My doctor said I have more success with this drug than I did with the other two.
